Condiments are a mixture of salt and sweet accompaniments that are added to food to add flavour.  They range from pickles, to ketchup, mustard, relish, salts, herbs & spices.

I have dedicated a whole section to condiments as I know that we all love to add that extra ‘something’ to our meals and I wanted to show you that you can make your own tasty yet healthy accompaniments as well as show you how many natural options there are to creating these delicious ‘add-ons’!

I will focus on the following:

  • Salt:  varieties and healthy substitutes
  • Sweet:  relishes and chutneys
  • Fermented:  how to use sauerkraut to compliment any meal as well as aid digestion
