This is a refreshing juice that will kickstart your day the right way.

Beetroot is currently in season (April/May) and can be enjoyed raw by adding with other fruits and vegetables to create a truly nutritious drink full of vitamins and minerals, as well as having had scientific research carried out to show it can reduce high blood pressure.

Serves 2: 250ml glasses


4 medium raw beetroots, washed and tops and tails removed (keep the leaves aside to be used in a salad)
2 green apples, quartered
1 inch fresh ginger
1/2 inch fresh turmeric
1 lemon, peeled
1/2 a whole cucumber


  1. Juice all the ingredients, pour into 2 glasses and enjoy
