Good Monday morning to you all.
Mondays always seems like a de-ja vu kind of day.  Do you ever get that feeling too?  Every other day seems to just get on with it however Mondays, it seems like a day to plan the whole week over again, to re-jigging ourselves and our time around, a time to start over (commitment and motivation) and to get organised (or should I say re-organised, re-plan, re-work, etc. etc) in ensuring all our outstanding tasks etc. are rescheduled into the coming ‘new’ week!

For me it is a day for planning as well as taking actions, catching up on emails and messages from the weekend and most importantly of all, ensuring I have my food menu planned for the day, if not the week.

I believe that being organised and planning is the key to success, in whatever field or line of work you are in.
For me, my priorities are in managing a great online food business, blogging, sharing delicious new ideas and recipes with you all as well as ensuring I take care of myself, first and foremost.  I also care for my mother, as I am her primary carer and this is an important part of my day too, to ensure that her needs and attention to health are met!
However, it is important to take care of the self first before considering others because if you are not in a good place, a place of good health and wellbeing, you can’t expect to be of any use to others or taking care of them from a right place right?

When I say taking care of the self, this can be simply by sleeping well, eating well, making sure the body and mind are well nourished through regular exercise and movement, meditating and being mindful about my thoughts and getting out in the fresh open air to feed the mind and brain the oxygen it so needs.  All this needs to take place before the needs of others and before any business actions and tasks commence.
So I wanted to share with a couple of new recipes for you to enjoy making in your own kitchens this week, in light of Halloween being soon upon us!
As some of you may know, we took part in Bedfords first Vegan Fair this Saturday just gone and the event turned out to be a huge success.  We made lots of Vegan cookies and cupcakes as well as our ever popular raw energy balls and chocolate brownies.  The fair started at 11 am and we were sold out by 2pm, which was a shame for us as well as you all who came to visit.  I guess we simply hadn’t anticipated the number of people who visited.  THANK YOU.  We are truly grateful to all who came.
So I wanted to share with you 2 new recipes.
One is our famous Raw Chocolate & Walnut Brownies (vegan and gluten free) and secondly, is our famous Roasted Red Pepper & Pumpkin Soup Cups .
Give them a try and let me know how you get on.
Wishing you a blessed week ahead, until soon, HAPPY HALLOWEEN and keep safe!
